Equestrian Manor is a prestigious guard gated subdivision along the Cactus corridor in Scottsdale between the major streets of 56th Street and 64th Street.  This quiet and elegant neighborhood is filled with generous sized lots and lush mature landscaping.  The walled neighborhood encloses 117 custom homes built on 118 lots.

Historically, this area began as one equestrian estate.  Through time the estate was divided into two sections, one for the single family homes and the other for equestrian stables.  In the early 1990s, the stables were converted into residential, as well, currently known as Paradise Manor Estates.  Based on this fact, the homes in Paradise Manor Estates are typically newer than the surrounding areas with more contemporary features with high ceilings, spacious rooms and lots of windows.

The subdivision is evolving with older homes being torn down and new built in its place; remodeling being done at all levels throughout.  The equestrian trails that run throughout the subdivision are being reclaimed by each homeowner to expand on the usage of their lot.  The pride of ownership shows in the renewed look at the guard gate and the common areas.

Many purchase in this neighborhood for the sense of community.  This exudes through various activities that are organized throughout the year.  There are signs to slow traffic down for the children and you find a gate in the community that leads directly to Sequoya elementary school.  It is in an amazing school district that includes Sequoya elementary, Cocopah Junior High and Chaparral High.

These two subdivisions are behind one gate, in a special private enclave, in the center part of town, with beautiful trees and green grass…. definitely, a wonderful find.
